The clinic director holds the full training authorisation (4 years) for specialist training in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Training at the clinic is integrated into the Saxony-Anhalt training network (Weiterbildungsverbund Sachsen-Anhalt) as part of the specialist training in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy.

Continuing education and further training take place mainly in weekly case conferences and lecture series. The lecture series are organised both by clinic staff and by invited speakers. The majority of the events are recognised by the Saxony-Anhalt Medical Association (Ärztekammer) as continuing-education events. In addition, in-house case supervisions for further training in psychotherapy are offered at no cost.
